A Love Undone is another great novel by Cindy Woodsmall. Just like her other books you will feel yourself being dragged into the story from the moment you read the first page. It follows the character of Jolene who is thrown into unfortunate circumstances and must care for her younger siblings instead of marrying like she had planned. You will definitely feel for Jolene and the life that she is being forced to live. All of the characters in this book are great and you will be intrigued by each and every one of them. The plot is also very good and will keep you interested in what is going to happen next. Anyone who is a lover of Cindy Woodsmall’s books or Amish fiction in general will love this book.

A Light in the Wilderness follows the stories of three very different women. Letitia is a former slave, Nancy is a woman who finds herself traveling away from what she knows to head west, and Betsy is a Kalapuya Indian. The three women become friends during the circumstances that they are each facing. They are very believable characters that you will definitely fall in love with. Jane Kirkpatrick is an author with a great tone to her writing and an author who knows how to weave a story so that you will want to keep reading. This is most certainly a book to add to your personal library.

This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from Revell.
