Sincerely Yours is a novella collection written by authors Jane Kirkpatrick, Amanda Cabot, Laurie Alice Eakes, and Ann Shorey.  Each story is about a woman who has their entire life changed by receiving one letter.  Each takes place in a different setting and time period but they are all equally enjoyable and tied together by the common theme.  One of the best things about this collection is that each story is fairly short so they can be read in a shorter period of time than a traditional novel.  Even though they do carry a common theme the four stories are in no way related and can be read in any order if you choose to do so.

The first story is Moonlight Promise by Laurie Alice Eakes.  It followed the character Camilla who was on board a steamship going to the Erie Canal. This story was very suspenseful but also romantic at the same time.

The second story is Lessons in Love by Ann Shorey. The main character in this novel was a girl name Merrie who found herself living with her aunt in order to learn how to play the piano so that she could find a suitor. This story was all about deception and romance.

The third story is One Little Word by Amanda Cabot.  This story follows Loraine who travels to New York to help out her brother.  Throughout the course of this story there are many things that happen that you do not expect and the storyline keeps twisting.

The last story in the novella collection is A Saving Grace by Jane Kirkpatrick.  It is about Grace who goes to Puget Sound in order to help find her God-child’s mother.

In all this is very pleasant and easy read if you find yourself wanting something to help pass the time. It would make a great summer beach read in my opinion. All four of the novella’s are very well written and entertaining.
